The Idea

Use various Web/HTTP APIs to gather, store, and present informations about Macedonia. Programmable Web is a wonderful place for Web API references.

Storage

CouchDB + Redis is my favorite pair of NoSQL technologies. Apache web server is also used, and what I'm thinking right now is employing Node.js replacement.
